HITMAN HEI 65K VS MSD 6AL BOX

When testing the HITMAN 65K HEI and the MSD 6AL ignition, I ran two runs each time with each ignition taking 30 minute cool downs.  I did this by (by swapping my best sourced modulator for the MSD mag pickup lead ) and alternating the ballast 3 wire connector.  Car ran +/- .009 seconds (7.08 to 7.17 @ 99mph) using my  HITMAN 65K HEI igntion assembly versus the MSD 6AL box.  See NHRA Factory Stock cars for any questions about HEI ignition limitations.

FEATURES:

The HITMAN 65K ignition includes all new billet shaft,  high output module (DR sourced/validated), OEM resistance pickup coil, brass tipped rotor and HEI cap terminals,  DR  custom weights and springs, and 65,000 volt coil (DR sourced/validated) .  Assemblies come complete with OEM cast iron gear (thumbnail) compatible with most camshafts to OEM style cap (with brass terminals) and OEM coil cover for easy spark plug wire removal and installation.

HISTORY:

I've been building and running HEIs for over 30 years.  I had luck using Mallory HEIs with  Accel 65,000 Volt "Super Coils" in the 90s even with a 11.50s (125 shot) daily driver.   When horsepower requiremenets mandated better ignitions,  I started building with my own HEIs .  After 20 years and conducting  an ignition module/coil shootout (2020) where I tested 7 different modules and coils including  MSD, DUI, AC Delco, Carquest, Accel.  I ultimately found a module/coil combinatoin that supported 600HP and 7500rpm+ with brutal OEM underhood thermal conditions(validation performed with steel hood)  . All HITMAN 65K distributors assemblies are assembled in my clean room.   100% money back guaranteed.

TESTIMONIAL:  Russ Coffell

It ran consistent low 7's  @99.x mph  (on 100 shot).   Shifted at 7300 rpms (on hose) 600HP/rpm7000+. Never had an issue with misfires on 86F day after driving 40 miles to and from dragstrip.

DR MAX 65K Internals

Assembly comes assembled with new weights, custom springs, high output module  and OEM 3 plug harness which comes plugged into red  OEM style thick cap with brass terminals. Just add 12V ign ON and tach signal.  7000rpm+ everytime using 500 olm per foot or less plug wires. Ignition has been validated by myself to over 600HP and 7600RPM.

65K STREET/STRIP COil

Afterd performing the "module marathon" in 2020 and determing which module got  performed the best , I validated and sourced the best 65K coil available.  I tested NGK, AC Delco, Accel Super Coil, CarQuest,  etc.  After 7 coils swaps and numerous brutal test hits with the car, I  found a supplier that met my requierments. Coil comes assembled in cap with OEM style coil cover.
