1995 Technical Analyist for GMPP/GMM. Released Vortecs, crate engines, performance parts in conjuction with performance aftermarket suppliers.
1998-2005 (GMPT)
Lead validation engineer for LS platform . Ran PTED PCSD and other durability schedules 4 to 6 LS engines concurrently. Ran design iterations from Alpha to Production. This included monitoring all engine data (cranking compresison, leakdown, etc) and making the calls when engines came and went off the dynos. When GM ran out of dynos, I sourced Roush and McClaren to keep the program running smoothly.
2002 Engine Masters Participant (Independent)
2005 Determined LS7 engine failures wer result of inadequate circlip retention. After informing management and watching engines grenade, I had collegues from the UAW fabricate an intake to couple a 3800 SC to big LS intake ports. Without consent or a cal, I grabbed a LS2 (EOT) and strapped on the blower sent it and making 717HP. This ended production of the LS7 and led to the mid year design of the LS9 (638HP)
2006-2009
Chief TD Coordinatior for all V8 programs. Worked directly with DREs to assuring LS platforms met OEM durablilty and power.
2009-2015
Westside Engines (Flint, MI) offering GEN1 SBC street/strip engines and beehive valve springs. Featured in Pontiac HP Waterford Hills GT-1 Champion (beating GM LS Team) using GEN1 with OEM heads.
2016-Current
Diabolical Racing (Swartz Creek, MI) SBC/BBC pump gas engines. Factory Stock HEI ignitions, carburetors. Pro tuning services. Pump gas specialist.
